Here is a video demo by Pod2g which showing the successful implementation of untethered jailbreak of iOS 5.Previously pod2g comes up with the statement that they have found a bug that will be a way to get untethers iOS 5.

Apple released their new iOS 5 beta 7 which is soon followed by the RedSn0w 0.9.8b7b from the iPhone Dev-Team, which brings explicit jailbreak support for iOS 5 Beta 7.
